OK COLD...IT'S BEEN ALMOST A WEEK NOW... I've already went through probably a hundred tissues, and painfully rubbed my nose raw with said tissues, and I don't know for certain but the medicine my mom forced me to take last night just about tranquilized me (was so dizzy I could scarcely feel the effects of gravity )

....as a consequence of this cold, I've started turning to ye' old anime fever gag in my head and have been wondering what everyone would do if Zim got sick. Somehow my plans of Zim and Skoodge's love flourishing as Skoodge-sensei takes care of Zim-kun with loving tenderness failed. Instead Zim is just in complete and utter denial: "I'm not sick. Invaders don't GET sick. I'm the *cough* picture of health. *chuckles with sore throat* hehe... 'sick.' " Later he succumbs to it with the help of overprotective helicopter moms, Gir and Skoodge. Gir is..being Gir. Yelling and screaming at the top of his lungs his absurd advice on how to mentally will yourself to get better and that he should avoid dying, all the while either not helping at all or making things worse. Skoodge takes it upon himself to school Zim on what to do when one is sick, since he thinks Zim is just all kinds of hopeless about it. Together, everyone's just pissing him off..except Dib, ironically.

Btw if you look closely, you'll notice there's some sort of white goo excreting from his antenna.... I just like the idea, especially since it adds more of an 'alien touch' to his illness. That must be interesting for him since, to me, Irken antenna are used for several different things...including his ability to see, smell, and hear. I suspect it definitely gives him some trouble, but for the most part he can function perfectly fine even with that nasty goo. I like to think it's similar to mucus, but you can just use your imagination
