The Husark Corps is a special branch of the TADF, taking recruits from any of the three other branches as well as the Alliance National Guard units. However, these recruits must be experienced soldiers and as such they only accept enlisted personnel of rank corporal or higher and commissioned officers of rank captain or higher.

The warrant officer ranks are used for enlisted personnel working their way towards the commissioned officer ranks. That is why Private and PFC are missing and the Lt. ranks remain. Due to the small size of the Husark Corps, the rank of Commandant is reserved for the commander of the Corps.
