I'm still not completely satisfied with the color, but here's a render of the ring power.An animated version of the ring being forged can be seen in my reel at toddfx.com.

Hello - I have used this graphic in a custom set of Magic: The Gathering cards that I plan to make available online in the future. Can you please let me know if you are not okay with this, and if I should have artist credit listed different than "Todd 587"?

I love it, adding the map was a nice touch as well. If anything perhaps there may have been a shadow in the background and not the stream of white light

My humble advise is that you might consider making the Ring a slightly brighter gold, and the map underneath somewhat darker grey. That would bring the Ring's lustre out better methinks.
