Mothman is a legendary creature reportedly seen in the Point Pleasant area of West Virginia from 15 November 1966 to 15 December 1967. What's interesting is how Mothman made man create the National Bridge Inspection Act of 1968. That's why it's on every bridge. If Mothman didn't do it, it would've never existed.

hahaha so awesome! my grandparents live in w.v and ive been to point pleasant, theres a statue in the town and they have a festival for it too. talked to an old lady who lived there and supposedly saw it. lol cool stuff. love it

The Mothman? My favorite Cryptid. There are many theories on how it came to be, one theory was that it may have mutated from a crow after being exposed to radiation from a nearby military outpost. Another theory was that it was summoned by a Native American Shaman who was murdered in Point Pleasent.
