AHHH!! TheRealLink's photos turned out SO INCREDIBLE!! Everyone looks CRAZY EPIC in them!! So I just had to post one!! this is DEFINITELY one of my favorites because it shows the full costume!! haha it's way too much fun being a smurf-girl!Midna: Me

What kind of body paint did you use? I'm looking at doing Midna, and I'm still trying to figure out what's best. :3

I used Kryolan Aquacolor. It's a water based body paint, so if you get it wet it'll run all over! But other than that...it's never cracked on me and I can talk, laugh, and smile all I want (even eat!). It does rub off on your costume tho in areas that it's constantly in contact with (like wrists, under your arms, and right under your bust) but usually it's only on the inside hem and doesn't show otherwise. I honestly would never choose another brand on paint, I love this stuff so much! It's really easy to apply too with a damp sponge and a little paint brush for tough spots/touch ups. I highly recommend it!

That's what I was looking at getting! I've never needed body paint for any costume that I've done, but now that I want to do Midna, and my boyfriend and I have been talking about doing some ReBoot characters, this is very handy information. Thank you so much!

This costume is amazing! So epically awesome! I love that game soooo much. This is a fantastic replication. The cloak and head piece look really amazing. I was just wondering how you did the leggings and stomach area. Is is like a body suit with different colored legs? Just curious.

Thanks so much! It is actually all body paint! except for the black leg, which is half of a legging XD haha 3 hours of glorious near nakedness just for Midna. hahaa talk about dedication XD *laughs*

haha it took a LONG time >< It's white fabric paint and took 14 hours of cloak painting, 8.5 hrs of skirt painting haha OY. thinking about it makes my head hurt XD

the bodypainting here is sooo awesome. it might be a hell to paint all yourself that good. what kind of painting did you use? is it ease to remove while you are cosplaying?

It's all body paint!! but I only painted my skin blue where you'd be able to see it >< and thank god cause painting my entire body would really SUCK O_O oh man

thanks!! it's actually Kryolan Aquacolor. It's water based make up and you apply it with a damp sponge...so after it dries all the way you're free to move around!
