I can totally relate. Nothing like Monster Hunter armor to break your cosplay hiatus with style. The results are looking sharp and well-worth it, and I like that you chose the Jinouga HH to complement your armor.

May I ask what you made the armor out of, and specifically how you strapped your shoulders? Having recently made MH armor myself (Brachydios), I really admire those who make their cosplay flexible enough to do even simple tasks like raising their arms up high. xD

Is the chest armor one piece? I noticed the scale texture but that section looks more like it was chiseled than overlayed with layers of scales. All in all, fantastic Monster Hunter cosplay.

Thank you kindly~

As usual, Armour is made of good old craft foam. My shoulders are attached to my chest piece and my arm piece simultaneously. As for chest piece being one piece, I will say yes. With many layers attached over it. Carving out the scales gave it a more uneven natural distribution instead of uniform patterned scales.

Nice Brachydios Blade master btw~

So may I ask how you attached the shoulders to the chest piece? Velcro? Buckle straps? I was just wondering how flexible it was to let you move around, raise arms, and pose in general.

Velcro will do. Pretty flexible for me to do anything not restricted by the armor itself.

Wow that is epic! <3 Beautiful work, and the hunting horn is an excellent touch! Don't get to see too many of those in cosplay.
