Watching FIFA, thinking about soccer! Olé! Olé! 
Also, as a fun side note, I used to live with a Bolivian girl and she talked me into playing soccer with her and a whole big group of south and central american students (which, those kids are super fun btw, and we had the best potlucks. Even though I got made fun of for not liking Mate. Lol!). Except here I am, this little white girl who’s played soccer maybe, three times in my whole life? Playing against a team of Brazilian students who are all crazy about the sport. Needless to say, things didn’t end so well for me. I ended up getting body slammed by a 180 lb Brazilian guy and I decided not to play soccer anymore. But I will still watch because… well, dem soccer boys. ;D

And thank you! ^^ Yes, I had a conversation with another person here about what sports the other kids would so, and now I kind of want to sketch that as well XD And yes, they have kind of a sport in Sky Herder, but it's more just like games rather than a big, organized thing. But mostly because it's not relevant in the story, so there hasn't been a real need for me to develop it.

It would be cool to see all of the Sky Herder peeps doing their respective 'modern day hobbies'. Mier plays soccer, so I wonder what the other kids do...hmmm xD

I actually thought about that while I was sketching these. XD They have different hobbies, but if they each had to play a sport, Mier would obviously be soccer (and probably also snowboard in cold weather.) Toch would be Cross Country (he's a good runner. Plus, it doesn't really involve as much "team work" as other sports. XD) and skateboard on his own time. And Nezah would play a lot of different sports because she's just good at that sort of thing in general. But her favorites would probably be football and ice hockey. Lol.

She probably can, and she'd probably go skate with Toch. Which, if Mier snowboards, then he probably skates too. There, they can go hang out at a skate park after school or something. XD
And yeah, I have several characters that are more fine-arts inclined, but I like to make sporty characters too. I think the SH kids would be more sports-inclined because their real job in the story is pretty physically demanding without a lot of free time for more "artsy" hobbies. But if any of them are more artistically inclined, it's Toch (which actually is relevant to his character). The other two, eh, I guess they can be. Nezah comes from a family of potters, and Mier is good with like, woodshop sort of crafting. But neither of them is particularly artsy.
Basically you can sum up their group by saying that Toch is the voice of reason, Nezah's the muscle, and Mier is the charisma/imagination. :>

LOVE IT. I always enjoy watching the world cup. My husband went on his mission to England so he became a fan lol. I always enjoyed playing soccer for fun when I was younger but I was never on a team or anything. I should play again just to force myself to run lolz. I hate running unless it's for a game.

I'm not much for televised sports myself. I much prefer being at an actual game, but big tournaments are always hard not to want to watch at least a little of. (Plus I think soccer boys tend to be the cutest of the major sports teams. XD) Though I have to stream EPSN on my comp because I don't have cable. lol!
Yeah, I don't like to run either. Well, not when people tell me to at least. I like jogging with my dog, but my dog has gotten so old that lately he can't keep up with me at all and I hardly get any workout if I take him with me. And then my other dog is so small that she can't run fast enough to keep up for very long. So if I take her, sometimes I just carry her for a bit and then set her down when I slow down. XD

Yeah, being at the game is soooo much more fun than watching it on TV. But I've come to appreciate televised sports as well after marrying my husband.
Lol I think it's adorable you carry your little dog. Someday we'll get a dog, but when all your money goes to supporting the human family members it's probably not best to through in a dog on top of it...I would probably go running more if I did have a dog though.

It's true. I mean, I don't care about football very much, but I always liked going to an actual game. And I used to go to baseball games all the time with my dad. Actually being in the stadium is just fun because of all the energy, if nothing else. Though I am enjoying watching soccer here on my computer. But I tend to like televised sports better when it's an international thing. I just really like seeing countries come together to play. :>

Yeah, my brother and his wife just had a baby but they already had two ginormous dogs and two cats. So their house is already quite full.

Awww that's cute - as long as they're good around the baby I think it's great. I didn't like my in-law's dog around my son when he was really young, but now that he's mobile and getting into everything I don't mind as much. She's really good with him, even when he smacks her in the face with his little bat (it's padded so she's okay!) She's not such a fan when he wakes her up that way though lol.

Lol, poor dog. XD Yeah unfortunately my sister-in-law's parents have another dog that they're looking for a new home for now because he's really not trustworthy around the baby. And since they're staying with her parents right now, the dog is becoming a problem.

Thanks! And I always sucked at soccer. Like... really sucked. XD I played softball as a kid and my brothers did soccer though. Personally, I preferred playing Basketball, but I was never good enough for a team. But I'm just not that competitive in team sports. Like, I tried out for tennis in high school and the coach told me she didn't think I was competitive enough to play on the team and I was just like "Yeah, you're probably right. Peace out! " lol!
