Description I have a thing about thinking sulphur crested cockatoos are evil little so and so's. Anyone who's tried to grow any type of fruit where they're found will know what I mean. They have a habbit of taking one bit out of a nearly ripe fruit before letting it fall to the ground. They're smart creatures and long lived- if you shoo them off they come back with a vengence. It is never a good idea to go coochy-coochy-coo to them either- their beaks are designed to break into seed pods after all.

The text is perfectly ledgible if you full veiw the image. I think I got the stance and look of the cockie* done well. A final note cockatoos are NOT parrots; they're in entirely diferent families.

*Australian slang has a habbit of reducing foreign words to one sylable (making them monosylibic) and adding either 'ie' or 'o'. Other consanent changes cann also occur. E.g. mosquito becomes mozzie (more commonly used in the plural) but afternoon becomes arvo (never used in the plural). Names, particuly ones that are already monosylibic tend to adopt the 'o' ending. For example Jack becomes Jacko but my last name, Keast, becomes Keastie. Don't try and make sense of Ausie slang, and please, please don't try and concuct your own words. Also note that 'cockie' can also mean cockroach. I try, as much as possible, to make my descriptions informative and educational. I like trivia.

D : This makes me wonder if the cockatoo on my shoulder is really a machine controlled by an imp in disguise.....

Pray he/she doesn't have a taste for ears then. They could just be lulling you into a false sense of security.

And thanks for all the faves.

awesome!! 10 points!
question: is this a living being with an armor, or is this a machine or is it both?

A machine controlled by an imp. So, no the cockatoo is not living per se.
