Taken off the coast of Sooke, Vancouver Island.Related content

It's beautiful to see Orcas where they belong, I think I recognize this particular one too. Plus, Sooke is part of their travel course if I remember correctly, and that's a Resident. That knick in the dorsal looks like Double Stuf, also since he didn't have a very long dorsal for a male to begin with. Though I'm not sure since knicks are common. :/ I wish I could go see them again, which I might in August if I'm lucky.

No matter how strongly I enjoy my job in a zoo, it's always fantastic to see animals out in their natural home in pure freedom. Great picture, I hope to see more.
