Description

This is the final form of the Scaroach line. It also serves as a pseudo-legendary, having a total base stat count of 600, plus being exceedingly rare (and being part Dragon-type helps).

Wynsect
(Derived from "wyvern" and "insect")
EVOLVES FROM DRAKROACH AT LEVEL 41
Classification: Desert Guardian Pokemon
Type: Bug/Dragon
Ability: Sand Stream - A sandstorm brews when the PokΓ©mon is sent out. This sandstorm will rage forever until the battle ends or unless another weather pattern is brought into play.
Note: The Scaroach line is totally immune to sandstorm damage, similar to the Cacnea line.
or
Sand-Digger - The power of Rock or Ground-type moves is increased by 1.75 during a sandstorm.
Note: Wynsect learns AncientPower at Lv. 47, and Earth Power at Lv. 62.
Base Stats:
- HP: 80
- Attack: 85
- Sp. Attack: 155
- Sp. Defense: 60
- Defense: 115
- Speed: 105
Height: 6'9"
Weight: 99 lbs
Area(s) Found:
(Area Name; Min Lv./Max Lv.; Rarity)
- None (Must evolve from Drakroach)
PokeDex Entry: Having matured from their thief-like tendencies, it prefers to guard whatever its master tells it to with its life. If it has no master, then it wanders off into the desert and becomes a fierce hunter that specializes in non-physical attacks.

Evolves from [link] at level 41.

So that's it for the Scaroach line. Personally, I love how Wynsect turned out. I was struggling with what to base the line off of, but then I decided to make it a scarab/roach line.

It should also be noted that Wynsect is pronounced as follows: "wine-sect", not "win-sect". This is because a common pronunciation of "wyvern" is "why-vern". That is all.

Maybe, but Keen Eye doesn't mean every attack will hit. It just means your accuracy cannot be lowered. You might be thinking of No Guard, an ability Bruno's Machamp is famous for having, which when the Pokemon is sent out, every single attack---from the attacker or the opponent---hits no matter what. Making Machamp very weak to OHKO attacks, provided it possesses the ability.
