History: The Void Hunters are a relatively obscure Chapter, even though they had their origins supposedly as early as the Second Founding. Having participated in only a handful of notable engagements against the many foes of the Imperium, their whereabouts are currently unknown. It is heavily believed that they are a fleet-based chapter, much like the Black Dragons and Scythes of the Emperor. There is a rumor that their origins may possibly lies with the Night Lords, as their motiff and battle doctrine relies heavily on terror and confusion tactics. With oversight from the Raven Guard, who were the only other Legion with a similar grasp of tactics, and possibly Dark Angels, since their Legion fought heavily against Konrad Curze and his forces during the Horus Heresy, they operate in the function of a standard Codex chapter, albeit primarily in structure instead of form.

They are often given much scrutiny in the eyes of the more zealous chapters such as the Black Templars and Marines Malevolent, although they offer their unflinching support for those that do not discriminate against them. The Dark Angels, surprisingly, tolerate them more openly than those of the 21st 'Cursed' Founding, especially the Black Dragons.

It is said that the Void Hunters' battle doctrine is a mix of terror attacks and guerrilla warfare, drawing upon both the Raven Guard and Night Lords style of fighting. When not performing in space combat, in which they are naturally attuned to fighting in, the often strike upon weak or defenseless planets and outposts and maining those who deserve their fury. They often pin the corpses of their mangled victims in the open to strike fear into the hearts of their opponents. However, when facing enemies not affected by fear, such as Necrons, or Traitor Marines, they often fall back upon the doctrine of guerrilla warfare, striking areas of weakness and capitalizing on the results, therefore adopting the Raven Guard's style of combat against those that do not suffer from morale damage.

It is known that they have an innate hatred towards traitors and heretics, particularly from others of the 1st Founding and especially other Night Lords. They are often called in for support when Imperial forces encounter Night Lords, although whether they choose to respond or not is another matter altogether.

Author's Note:
This fanmade Chapter was made as of a result of me wanting to give something nice to my friend

I plan on making a few more for some friends, though when those will come out is yet to be determined. Still, be on the lookout for more fanmade chapters later on
