First of all, let me make something VERY clear.
THIS IS A WALLPAPER!
The light and shadow and color is amazing and the sheer power displayed is incredible too!
And like Rainbow Dash, you can COUNT her feathers too, nice detail!
I get the sense that she IS LIKE A GOD AND SUPERPOWERED!
ALL BOW BEFORE THE MIGHT OF CELESTIA THE SUN GODESS!

I honestly have no complaints and I would NOT be surprised if this had been featured somewhere by now already.
And wait, black orbs, wait, is this a depiction of Celestia's banishment of Nightmare Moon to the moon?

No way! It totally is!
The tears and orbs give it away and it's really easy to miss, but bonus points for that, clever original way to change the elements of harmony so that the audience has to think about what they are and why she's crying! But I know why! I see it!
In] know I might be gushing, but I find it REALLY hard to hate artwork or anything because it can inspire so much!
Honestly, this is a great piece of art and I would have no idea how to rank your best ones!
But please keep up the great work!

I like most things celestia but the part i like the most about this one is the mane and overall art style. the orbs circling her are cool.. i do not have much opinions on them, they are just there. perhaps it could be better with something in the background but the simplistic backdrop lets us focus on the foreground better,
the flowing effect on her mane is something that i really like in this, and i also love the horn glow effect on this.
i am certainly not the best critique because of my extreme bias to celestia but for what its worth that was my review...

This is like the best thing ever! The thought is absolutely hilarious, and I literally fell off my chair when I saw this! There's only one thing I'd change, though. I don't really understand Twilight's Um... appearance? I think her expression is adorable, but in general, that delightful pancake hat makes it look like her head is a triangle.
Other than that, this is absolutely hilarious and amazing! (Especially Luna's face, that's me with tacos) I really love Celestia, too. It's great to see that Mary-Sue girly princess looking so... Pancake-Loving???

So first things first: lighting, the way the light emanates from her horn and the orbs surrounding her is good, I can also see you've reflected the light on her wingtips, flank and hair. this gives the image a really good sense of mood like she's a deity. Also the hair is amazing, it's really effective how you've shifted from the turquoise into the deep marine and purple which adds to lighting and levels.
Her overall design looks really impressive, the first thing I noticed was her expression which is really different from what she usually looks like. I've only seen a few images where people draw Celestia angry and most of the time she is yelling however the way you've drawn her goes beyond this; she isn't angry, she's absolutely pissed and the glare conveys that so well.
Overall a really good dramatic piece that tells a big story but also leaves itself open to interpretation in many ways which is really cool because it allows the viewer to draw their own conclusions about what's going on in the image as well.
