Description This is a little experiment I did with Photoshop. I wanted to see if I could draw something that wasn't already scanned; I wanted to test out my proficiency with just the mouse. This is what I ended up with. I'd say it's taken me about a half-hour, maybe an hour.

I know it's not my best work, but I don't think it's too terribly bad, considering it's my first try (at real art) with nothing but a mouse and a blank canvas.

Bet you can't guess who this is!

This is most likely how it would have turned out if I'd hand-painted it. I'm not too good with old-fashioned painting.

I can`t paint at all. I fail. I`m pretty good with markers though.

I'm better with Photoshop. At least in Photoshop, you can afford mistakes.

My uncle was thinking of getting me a tablet for my birthday/Christmas next year. But I still want to develop my talent with traditional methods for coloring and art.

It does look pretty good; especially for a first try! The colours look like they were done with a brush!

THis is actually well done!! When I first saw this in the group, I was like "Someone else must've done it, it looks cool," but when I saw the actual deviation, I was like "OMIGOSH!!!" XDD I really like the fact that you're trying new things^^

Bingo! Just took a bunch of colors and used the smudge tool and a few other special effects. Not as easy as it sounds, believe me.
