A close-up of Terence's beautiful, soulful eyes. Though Terence can speak very well, his eyes often do most of the talking for him. Yes, this is based on the movie Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. I think I developed it after watching a Let's Play of The Neverhood Chronicles. The main character in that game, Klaymen, is pretty much alone for most of the game, with no one to talk to, so his characterization is pretty much all non-vocal. And he is very expressive for a lump of clay.

Letting the eyes do the talking is a very powerful emotion, it really always wants to make me cry. Eyes are certainly the window to ones soul. Brilliant work!

Wow! I just love the way you draw horses. And how it's kept in a slightly cartoony feel, but never really over the top. 
Horses are super tough to draw so I give you major kudos, there. 
Aww, and Terence's eyes look so...sad in a way. True eyes are indeed windows to the soul. They tell so much with just a look, you know?
The lineart and shading is absoloutely gorgeous! And so clean.

I use Photoshop Elements 7. Basically, I draw my pictures by hand, with a pencil and paper. Then I go over the lines I want to keep with black ink, with a fine-tipped pen. Then I scan the picture into the computer and use Photoshop to color it in, sort of like a digital coloring page.
