Description
This is a series of images I painted for my friend . He is a grad student doing creative advertising... so his homework is to come up with crafty ideas for ads that trick consumers into thinking they want to buy the companies product!
Anyway, he enlisted me to do some paintings as part of his ad campaign media for one of his classes... the idea of this ad series is to show a golfer as a mythical hero, defeating the monstrous obstacles on a course. So the painted style is trying to help convey that mythical-ness.

This is quite amusing...the middle panel especially, it's a "I have the power" moment lol. Anyway I see you used a slightly different style. I like all of the texture in the piece.

Life is going, still haven't really moved forward since graduating though... so a sense of pressure to really do something/move forward with my life is really building. I wish the sky rained job offers... that would make life so much easier!!

Thanks, I had fun experimenting with a different technique... I think I'm most pleased with the BGs in these images... I will probably try and introduce some of that more painted BG style in my typical manga-esk work
