This time no 3Dprint included. The piston part can be reversed and still be fonctionnal. Lego totally should have edited this part this way.Related content

Cool! I tried to get something like this cutting two kardatoran arms, but I divided the elbow in only two sections (one attacked to the upper part, one to the lower one).
I was inspired by those stop-motion movies LEGO released in 2010 featuring the Bionicle STAR with actual joints.

It wasn't easy to cut the parts, believe me. I'm trying to make a 3D model of it to create a natural articulation but it's still difficult.

This piece should be included in the LDraw database, you could get the 3D model from there. That should be a good starting point.

You know what ? I found out the part model on my personnal data, hiding with dozen of lost models XD. Thans for motivating me to search for it, now I just finished the elbowed model and it works great !
