Description
"The Lost Girl" is very near the end of production, I'm happy to say. It's been a long and bloody trip, not to mention a lot of work. But looking at what's been made, it's been worthwhile.So here's another teaser page!
This is part of my favorite sequence in the book. Something is indeed arriving at the door

Great scene, but but but in my opinion it's hard to know that someone or something's coming. The reaction of the protagonist is clear to see, but these frames with the door are kinda... static.

Hard to say, could be a possibility. I just can't imagine the situation - ist the door bolt shaking? Is she just hearing a noise?
I'd like to know - via the panels - why she's so scared.

That makes sense. I think within the parameters of the story it's better explained, but just posting this "silent" page alone without any context probably isn't a great way to communicate what's going on

Totally. You're not likely to see anything be more of a door than this object, which is most assuredly a door. Not a window, or a ventilation duct, but a genuine, full-size arrangement of wood on hinges designed to partition two given spaces in a manner which can be manipulated to provide or deny access to each region.
