I've been "encouraged" (forced) to learn how to use Illustrator at work. Really did not want to bother with the program probably for the major reason, it's slow! But, I had to learn on it for future use and evidentally I figured I'd go home and practice. Lucky me that I had a sketch lying around, and it seemed like the perfect candidate.Simply can't say this really looks like my style at all, especially in terms of line, color, and really anything. Played off an existing image of my lovely Swadeaqua in a martini glass. Wanted to revisit it, but with a bit more of a dual entity thing going on, and a lot of macro/micro stuff. Thought it was really cute, albeit weird. Super girly color scheme though. Still can't say this is a bad job for my first try on a fully vectored image.
(Had to edit this. Realized the exporting killed the quality, a lot. Stupid program.)

For something you usualy do not do i find it very interesting. I especialy like how you made the lips all shiny.
Hawing herself in the drink makes me think she had a little too much of it lol

It's the sort of detail I like to do on lips that no one ever sees, mostly because I size the images down so much. Nice to actually have somewhat of an excuse to do lush, shiny lips.
She probably has had a little wee too much to drink. Don't know what sort fo special power that would imply though.

Unusual color pallet, but a nice variation. I like the bright colors.

It's definitely not a color palette I would use normally, but it is nice for a change. I also like it in a way, despite it being different for me.

Illustrator can a pain in the butt, I would do vector designs and have to go through a complex process to get it into a picture format.
Decent picture, all she needs is a showgirl dress.

It does take a bit of effort, but for me to take one object into another media (2D texture > to 3D Model > to animating/finished picture) can be a very long process, so dealing with this, while a bit unexpected wasn't completely intolerable.
The dress would have likely been a good idea. Would give me a great excuse to add more sparkles.

For an image from me, it's doing rather "well". Most of my pictures get about 3-5 favs, and under a 100 views within the first few weeks. To me, this is a good start.

Unfortunately, it's very difficult to get a lot of views/comments/Favourites here if you do original artwork (as opposed to fanart)...unless you're someone famous. It's crappy that it's like that, though, especially since a lot of really fine original work goes unappreciated.
I still say bravo; Illustrator can be a pain in the neck when you first begin using it, and you definitely use it like a pro.

also i know critism supposed to help the artist but sometimes i heard it can sap the inspiration of the artist lol but anyways a drawing is a drawing and i love that hawt drawing but my most fave is mewblade <3 shes so hawt especially when she looks tougher than normal ... real awesome character you created ^^

I don't mind criticism, as long as it is constructive. It helps me grow and makes me aware of which areas I need to improve in. Although for a program like this, I probably could use general tool know-how versus criticism since it's my first full run at it.
Never thought 'hawt' was a word that could be used to describe Swadeaqua, or especially Mewblade. Learned something new today.
