More concept art. This weapon is a katar (I've also seen it called a katal) for those who don't know.

I've designed a rather simple one here for one of my characters. It's the basic katar shape with a blade about a foot long. This is obviously not colored, mostly because it's just conceptual, but the blade is a deep dark maroonish red color while the metal is black. This is a bit thinner than the usual size for a katar but my user is smaller than the average person so it works.

All the line sketches next to the weapon are ideas for the etching along both sides of the blade. Some of them look really weird. I like none of them enough to conclude that it is the etching I really want so the blade is still bare.

Anyway, my user wields two of these weapons (as most katars are usually used) and kicks some serious trash in an absolutely brutal way. No mercy.
