He is skilled enough at magic to able to send mid-to-long range projectiles, but he avoids using earth magic unless he absolutely must. Upon joining Polaris, he has also become a skilled zwerder...?

Necalli is an honest individual, always willing to say what he thinks is the truth, even if the people around him won't be happy with it. Despite being standoffish and hard to get close to, he worries and cares deeply about the people that he does consider his friends, and he is almost always willing assist to help his comrades. Necalli uses a mixture of intuition and logic in order to solve his problems, and he always does his best at what he considers to be his responsibility. However, when his patience runs out, he tends to be a little reckless in his desperation to solve the problems in front of him. He does not hold long grudges, and is the first person to blame himself when things go wrong. Despite not really caring about people he is not close to, Necalli is unwilling to see anybody die without trying to save them, faction aside...

History: Necalli Ocelotl was raised by his grandfather and his aunt because his mother had passed away from illness shortly after he was born, and his father had been mauled by a dragon a few months later. However, he does not bear any resentment towards dragons towards this, and the fear and respect he has for them now is from his own experiences. He had always found the monarchic political structure of Kandera to be stifling and restricting, and had decided from an early age to leave Kandera when he became an adult. When he was a teenager, he met a Quaser pilot at the main island and was enthralled by the stories of her various missions and encounters. The instant he saw her airship, Necalli made up his mind to become a Quaser and perhaps, help usher Kandera into a new age and past monarchy.

In Kandera, Necalli helped his grandfather and his aunt while they worked as guards and guides for the various travelers and merchants that had to go through the second, tropical forest island. Thanks to this, his aunt oversaw his physical training. He came across his magic by accident when he was 6, and his grandfather taught him how to use his powers and develop his magical skills. When he finally revealed to them that he intended to go study to be a Quaser at Polaris, he met some resistance and anger and from his aunt, and she challenged him to a sparring match; saying that he could only go when he could beat her. After a year of hard training, he finally won a match, and left on good terms with his remaining family.

Since then....
Necalli Ocelotl was promoted to Officer rank after making his first batch of friends, obtaining a zwerd, and fighting off a variety of monsters that he thought only existed in legend. He has discovered that he has a rare teasing side that appears around certain peers, and that he seems to have a knack for befriending all sorts of animals and dragons...? During the Moon Festival of late summer and early fall, he traveled to the four continents, fulfilling an old wish. Having seen the world, Necalli decided to excel as much in life as he possibly could, and protect the new people in his life that he cared about. In late October, he was seriously injured after berserking in a fight against the Dark Man, and was bedridden for a week. Despite this, he didn't regret anything because he considered it as a necessary sacrifice to prevent further injuries, and made a full recovery. However, several incidents through the past six months have alerted Necalli to his reckless, overly serious attacks in both skirmishes and sparring exercises, and he has been rethinking just what sort of person he wants to be...

Skill: Jaguar's Claws
A magical buffer that increases Necalli's strength to the point where he can tear down steel walls with his bare hands. Can be used for a total of 10 minutes per hour, so he uses it sparingly. Between his two skills, this is the skill that Necalli prefers - partially because this skill doesn't give him headaches.

Skill: Eagle's Talons
In order to be used, the target needs to be within a 12" radius of Necalli. This skill gathers rocks from around the opponent and shoots them all to a specific "point" on the target. However, this skill does cause fatigue, so there are various things that Necalli can choose in order to lessen the strain - like the size of the chunks of the earth used, from how far he's summoning them, how many, how fast, the size of the surface area chosen as the target, etc., etc.

Special: Etzli
In order to activate this skill, Necalli needs to have lost at least 3 oz of blood. When activated, it puts Necalli in a berserker mode that brushes aside the limitations of his body and isn't as affected by pain. Necalli can still use Jaguar's Claws in this state, but he will also attack anyone without bias. Etzli will last for either 30 minutes, or until he passes out from blood loss or by being knocked unconscious. If Necalli does survive using Etzli, the strain of this "status" on his muscles alone is enough to leave him hospitalized for at least a few days.
