Ever since I first saw the picture, I thought it was pretty awesome. So I wondered what would happen if I created new lineart and colored/shaded it in with my own style haha. The final image is also posted in the League of Legends forums.
Original artwork is by Riot Games, behind League of Legends. Very very fun game
. Anyway, this project was really fun to do, even if it took awhile. Learned quite a few things along the way. Hope you enjoy!

Trying to figure out why Noxian Soldiers have four eyes.

All I know is that if they're soldiers under the command of Swain, they'll have the four eyes look (similar to his ravens).

Most important question of all: if LeBlanc is Swain, how is she using Swain's demon bird form?

Rumor has it (from what the Journal of Justice read) that LeBlanc is J4 as seen from the reflection. What most conclude: Since Leblanc and Swain work together, they stage this fight to make it look as if J4 wanted to start a battle with Noxus (at this time, Jarvan was actually missing) because of the tension between the city states.

Looking at the lore, though, it's not that they work together, it's the Black Rose. LeBlanc is the current leader of the Black Rose organization, and Swain used to be a member.
The Black Rose, like the Gray Order, were an organization that opposed Noxus's old leadership. That does make me wonder if they were ever in allegiance. If so, Annie's parents could have been allies with Swain!

jericho Swain IS a member of the Black Rose. He is an ally of LeBlanc's. We truly do not know if J4 IS J4, as when he joined the League, he did not have a judgment. The summoners did not look into his mind, because Swain paid a Noxian summoner to let him in there to attack Jarvan and because of that small battle, Jarman was allowed to enter without doing the proper things.

LeBlanc is Jarvan IV and that is why her true self is reflected in the necklace. Why she is fighting Swain is to start a Demacian/Noxian war.

Hey Vega, just asking, have you thought of remaking the last image of the JoJ? It's not a particularly exciting scene I admit, and there's no larger version of it to check for detail, but still, it's the last image of the JoJ so it's a little iconic (plus it has Swain in it again, which is a plus for me ^_^)

I've always thought about remaking that image. For sure, it's more tame, but variety is always interesting. I'm not exactly sure when I would start the work, but it's on my list of future projects to do

Man....this shading is so smooth, the shadows, the recoloring...it's way superior to the original JoJ entry.....wich art I am not quite fond of (too sharp and sketchy).
This looks more like the dedication put into the splash art of the skins...it's really awesome!!!
