Gannet (Morus bassanus) - Bempton Cliffs RSPB Reserve, East Yorkshire, England. June 2017.I thought I would upload a few of my recent photographs. My favourite subjects to shoot are nature related: flora and fauna.
I'm steadily building up my collection of British bird and butterfly photos.
Camera: Nikon D80 SLR
Lens: 70-300mm Nikkor VR zoom

This is a great shot. It's hard to get an object in motion centered in the screen like that, and with all the detail. Very nice.

Thanks a lot, Rachel. I took a great many photos, from a cliff top where dozens of birds were wheeling about, and only a couple were pretty much perfect like this one. It was fun trying, though, and hugely rewarding to get a nice shot.

Thanks! This bird reserve has many thousands of nesting seabirds of all kinds on the cliffs. There was a lot to see there.
