Great Tit (Parus major). I think this one was a juvenile bird.Camera: Nikon D80

It's beak is still a bit yellow.
We have an air vent in the bathroom wall with a grill each side.
Some small birds have made a hole in it outside and have a nest in there. We already had one nestfull this year. We can hear the chicks peeping from inside when we wash our hands.
This year there is a second family now that makes tiny sounds like a little metal hammer, "ting ting"!

That's a good point about the beak colour, thanks. It makes sense that this might be present on a juvenile.
