Description Just for a change from fractals I thought I would upload some random photos taken over the last year or two.

This is a crop of a much larger picture ~ I liked the water droplets that were captured and the lovely colours of the duck's plumage.

Thank you, Jen. Your photo is cute too! Mallards may be very common but I still like them very much, they're just so homely and frendly looking, and I love the glorious, iridescent plumage of the male's head.

I agree! My grandmother used to call the males "million dollar ducks" because of their bright green heads!

He had just surfaced from a dive so there were plenty of droplets on him - I love the drip on the end of the beak.
