Ahahahaha. That is the best SFX for a Wartortle smashed against the window. I'm surprised the window is still intact... Dude I love the lighting in this; it's all nice and soft and makes the cafe look comfortably dry compared to the pouring rain outside.

I think that people building stores or restaurants on the Challenger Chain take under account that there might by Wartortles or bigger things smashing into their windows/doors/walls and/or generally trainers wreaking havoc around the place. c:

NOT SO QUICKLY, AKSHULLY. I work slow. I just spend a lot of free time on these because it's so freaking cold outside and I prefer to stay in my warm lil' room.
I think it's around... counting out working on other things, eating, errand breaks and other nuisances I'd say about, eh, 6, maybe 7 hours? That's why I finish these during weekends. Lots of time for drawing, drawing and drawing. Although I usually stay up till 2 or 3 because I lose control of time ahaha. orz

For now battles are on hold until next year and I will be trying to complete my Grand Prix audition. After the new year I already have two people interested in challenging me. x)

this is fantastic. that's all i really have to say. and that i love how you depict shadowclaw. it has an incredibly high badassery level.
i just love how this is just totally uninteresting to james.
um um only minor critique that i don't know if it will make sense when i say it. the way the mons are positioned makes the glass look really thin, like it's just a very thin pane of glass. i think if they were somehow pushed back a little, or if there was a little glare on the inside surface of the glass, it'd add some more depth? because i guess it looks a little flat, more like a painting than them being on the other side of a windowpane.

However I will (hopefully) be posting up a new comic, an audition for a tournament held by IPL - the Gran Prix.
