Another older piece, I was actually surprised I never uploaded this one as it's one of my favorite early works. I spent an insane amount of time on this and actually quit drawing for a couple years after I finished it for personal reasons. It's all ballpoint pen on cheap paper, the stylized trees are my tribute to the covers of the Narnia books I grew up with as a kid. blogs.independent.co.uk/2014/1… Here's an example.Related content

pretty much, i normally try not to spend too much time on a piece but this was definitely an exception, sometimes you just have to go a little crazy
