Description I do NOT own the photograph, I found it on this site .

It's the late 1950s and White Pass & Yukon Route #190 is seen here in the siding imobile, note that she has an eariler 70 class tender. The locomotive is a former United States Army Transportation Corps S118 class 2-8-2 mikado, built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1943. She and 10 of her sisters were originally going to India, but were shipped to Skagway, Alaska instead to help build the Alcan highway. In 1946, the locomotive along with 7 others of her class (#198 - 200 were shipped out of Skagway in 1945) were sold to the WP&YR as the 190 class. #191, #193, #194, #196, and #197 were retired in 1951. #196 was left to rust while the others were scrapped. #190, #192, and #195 continued service into the late 1950s. #192 retired in 1957. #190 found herself on the deadline by 1959 and #195 served her career until the early 1960s. In 1960 #190 was sold to the Tweesie Railroad where she continues to operate today.
