I like this one better than the classical version.
To me this one looks more like an actual prehistoric animal than an exaggerated monster.

I still prefer the other one, but I admit that as more I get used to the lipped version, more the classical looks disfigured.

I would say that the lipped version is even uglier hehe. It is like a "bat-fish".

Well...that depends on how you draw the lipped one. If you draw it like a beluga, it might actually get kinda cute

True, it isn't ugly as long as the "teeth" is totally hidden.
