Thank you! That's great, I love to see new Zant cosplays! I'll definitely check it out.

For the pants, first I got normal pants patterns. Then with the help of the patterns and reference pictures I made a pattern for all the flappy parts. The 'base' pants were made from stretchy fabric. They have an elastic waist. I made them poofy by sewing a tighter, stretchy band to the ends, and the rest I made from thick, non-stretchy fabric that I hand-sewed onto the base pants. The edges of the flappy things were folded and sewn under, and I finished them by hand-stitching the sides of the flaps together so that they wouldn't fly around.

Sorry if this is kind of confusing, I'm not good at explaining... Hope I could help at least a bit. XD Btw, in my scraps there is a picture of the pants in progress, it might be helpful: [link] Though they are in a very early stage in the photo, and some parts are folded to show the final look, not sewn.

This is really helpful. Thank you so much! I actually found some pretty baggy pajama bottoms in my attic a while ago and kept them in my room if I'd need them for cosplay; now I know I can use them for the base for this I'm in Estonia on holiday at the moment and I know they have great fabric stores here (I only know one where I live in Scotland) where I should be able to get thick sturdy black material. I hope it works

Yeah. I want my boyfriend to be Zant with my Midna but he doesn't like Zant too much. Oh well, one day I will just have to make it for myself. *Zant dance*
