Description This photo was taken on June 8th 2003. I was driving in the nearby city when I came upon this fountain that was lit up with multi-colored lights. I just had to. This one looked really nice with the color combination.

True, and one I probably wouldn't want to come in contact with.

Thank you. So do I. It almost appears as transparent candy-cane.

Love the pic. Did you strike the background black or was this against a very dark night of something?

Nice job.

This shot was taken around 9 or 10pm. They light this fountain up with changing colors. I've taken and visited this fountain (Which is in the next city) numbers of times and have taken plenty of shots. It was when I was going through the shots when this one finally stood out. It wasn't very bright like the rest, but it had a certain appeal being that it was close up. Thank you very much for your comments.

great pic. i really like the abstraction. the only thing is that you should reduce the size of the image unless u want someone to steal it, or if its a stock image. great pic

Well, you run the risk of someone downloading it and using it without permission. With such a large image size they could do whatever they want with the image. Unless it is a stock image, I would keep the image size to no more the 800-1000 pixels at the widest side. This is a general rule of thumb. Plus, if you put it at this size, when people click on it to enlarge it, they can see the image in their monitor. The size it is at now is too large to see all together in the screen. One more good thing about reducing the size is that it loads much faster for slower internet connections. You could also watermark or put a very translucent copyright mark over the image so that if someone prints it they cant sell it because it is clearly copyrighted under someone elses name. I hope that helps to explain why smaller is better on this site.

I suppose getting recognition would be good. I never usually put my name on anything. I just don't. You feel as though people would steal these right from here?
