Artistic dots and waves of paint carefully painted upon her face, head, and chest, they almost sparkled in the dawn light as she came out of the darkness. Her fur, including her cute tuft, had been carefully groomed and brush back, making her blonde fur shimmer. A huge smile graced her features as she spotted him and her olive eyes glimmered, reflecting the cheer upon her face. Her mother and bestfriend escorted her out of the cave, silently cheering her on and guiding her up onto the platform and towards Nuka's left side.

There was a small snicker from the audience as Vitani reached around his back towards his face and brought up his jaw back up. Kovu then brushed his shoulder back, following with a small, warm clap to reassure him. With the two lovers finally presented, the queen began her speech.

I initially wanted to do bridal marks for Zuri and Tiifu's mother Chiku, though I couldn't come up of something that ended up taking away from the main focus of the bride, so I skipped it. Had I left it in, Chiku's would've been a light spring green forehead(symbolic of motherhood), and Zuri's would've been something in light blue.

I imagine weddings aren't very common for the pride, reserved for mainly rulers, but since Nuka is technically royalty and his brother and sister, new recently acquired allies, are here, they're holding one. Smaller ceremonies for other pride members would probably just include immediate family and close friends, plus maybe an officiant, like the head of the family, mentor, shaman or one of the royal family. I also referenced the cave entrance Simba and his family walk out of for this scene.

I've had this scene in mind ever since I started this project, so this is really exciting for me.
