Description Note: this design is slightly inspired by the F-302,of Stargate. I've always been a fan of the design so i thought maybe I would do a version of it for my world..although this bird is a bit bigger and packs a pretty serious punch.

I hope it stand up on it's own. I didn't want it to be just another clone of the existing design.

===============================
Background
===============================
As The J-35 Sparrow began to show it's age, and suffer increasing losses to the more numerous, Najuhlim Fighters. The Mohljaniir Fleet command sent out a request for a larger more heavily armed craft capable of dealing with not only the swarms of light expendable Najuhlim fighters but larger strike ships, and escorts as well.
The result was the J-45 Falcon. Manufactured by the same corporation as the Sparrow the falcon boosted heavier armor and weapons, as well as greater speed.
Using the direct interface virtual cockpit system the pilot of the Falcon was able to link seamlessly with his craft giving the larger heavier craft the ability to maneuver and track the smaller warm fighters used by the Najuhlim.

The Falcon has a turret mounted twin Hyper Energetic Matter cannons ( Hyper-Beams )as well as two fast firing electromagnetic propelled( E-mag) projectile guns which fired at a much higher rate than the older weapons mounted on the Sparrow.

In combat The Falcons power, speed, and heavier armor and shields gave it a major advantage, allowing the fighters to engage even when seriously outnumbered or facing heavier strike craft.
When mounting anti ship missiles, or light torpedoes the Falcon also could serve as a light attack fighter with a good deal of success.

The J-45 served until the end of the war, as the Najuhlim fleet pushed it's genocide campaigns into the inner systems of the Mohljaniir the J-45 was pushed off the lines in ever increasing numbers to augment the failing capital ships,.
Many J-45s were part of the evacuation Fleets and are now found in the hands of Survivor militias who put them to good use to augment newer less sophisticated designs their small shipyards are limited to.

Recently The J-45 has been licensed to TAE, and Valkiir Manufacturers who produce the craft in small numbers. the advanced composites, and Xeno-isotope components of its air frame and extremely advanced engines, and electronics ( by TAE, Valkiir Standards) make the craft expensive and difficult to manufacture without the Mohljaniir advanced fabrication facilities.
As TAE shipyards become more adept at copying the technology it is likely the J-95 will become a common sight, joining the Export Model Sparrow in more fleet units.
It is also inevitable that the TAE manufacturers will incorporate the technology into the fighter and capital ship design leading to a jump in there capabilities as the manufacturing secrets of the lost Mohljaniir yards are rediscovered or reverse engineered.

The increased ability of Human forces to manufacture the Highly advanced Mohljaniir systems that hostility with Najuhlim and Q'sa will increase as the two races face the threat of a Human Alliance fleet equipped with weapons and equipment they had thought destroyed during the Mohljaniir Genocide.

*catches them* and studies the controls chapter for a grand total of 10 minutes while climbing into the cockpit then promptly sets it down and fires up the engines after belting in.
Commander Fillmore says: Thanks dudeΒ
Then immediately takes off into the sunset
