Description
Here in the forests of Brazil, we see a Seba's short-tailed bat that is about to feed on the fruit of the Piper plant. Seba's short-tailed bats feed on a wide variety of fruits that are characterized by being high in protein and low in fiber. If the fruit is very low, they supplement their diets using nectar and pollen from flowers, in which the Seba's short-tailed bats become pollinators.
