Description
Based on the Eternal Phoenix design, this magpie was a request from a client. I must say I really do like how it came out! The iridescence on the tail is more striking in person, but alas, the limitations of photography.Hand-tooled and shaped 7-oz leather and feathers, and painted with acrylics.

It's amazing. I'm a huge obsessor over magpies myself and I am really glad there are people out there to catch they're beauty in items. And that there are other lovers out there who actually request those things. ;D

The feathers are rooster tail feathers, which I was able to get through an online feather shop, who specializes in all sorts of (legal!) feathers.
