Oof. Yeah, so this is a bad look. And I’m not talking about this guy’s silly poop brown jumpsuit.⁣

You see, the Inhumans long ago decided they wanted to be an enlightened society that devoted most of their efforts to art, science, and philosophy. Work-a-day activities like farming, cleaning, and other blue collar work should “beneath” such highly evolved beings as themselves, no? And like many societies when they decide to accomplish such things, the Inhumans decided to resort to the least enlightened ploy imaginable: slave labor.⁣

And so, in comes the Alpha Primitives. Simple-minded genetically crafted clones that were purposed with sting all the…you know…WORK. Cleaning, building, repairing, farming, etc. You know -- basically anything those high-minded, “enlightened” Inhumane no longer wished to sully their genetically engineered hands with.⁣
⁣
And so it went for 4000 years, until finally…fairly recently…Blackbolt was convinced to free them. But as they can not reproduce, do not know how to do anything OTHER than toil, the intelligence of a 6 year old child, most just kept doing what they had been doing.⁣

So…yeah. The Inhumans had slaves. And sort of still did even after freeing them. ⁣
