Description
Man, Quasar, the appointed "Protector of the Universe" by a cosmic entity named Eon, has been busy. In addition to protecting, well...everything, he was also an Avenger, ran his own security services company, and was trying to have some sort of normal human social life.
But after finding out his father had both died, then was psuedo-resurrected by Eon so Quasar wouldn't get distracted from his "Protector" responsibilities, he quit on Eon. Which was all an evil doer named Maelstrom needed to enact his crazy plan to destroy, well, everything. He tricked a distracted Quasar into letting his guard down, and took Quasar's Quantum Bands away from him....but cutting off poor Quasar's hands ( the bands only come off if you die).
But with the help of friends and powerful cosmic forces, Quasar gets a second chance at life, a new mission as Avatar to a massively powerful cosmic entity called Infinity, and a spiffy new costume.
And a dang good one, too...that's just a great costume, folks. Even the 90s mullet works.
