No, really, I'm not! But there's some delicious prey for you right over there.

Nice eyes. I like they way birds look at you!

Ou, docela nebezpečný pohled... myslím, že kdyby mohl vraždit pohledem, tak se mu podařilo zabít již hodně lidí, kteří se na tuhle fotku podívali

I love birds of prey but I've never heard of that one. How is it that you get such clear shots? All the zoo's here in Florida have either bars or plexiglass and it always gets in the way when I photograph, but yours are crystal clear and have really sharp detail!

thank you very much you know, I take for example 50 bad shots to finally get one I can post... for example in ZOO Chomutov I took really many shots of eagle. But all of them are terrible

In ZOO Lesna, there was no cage, no glass birds were in the aviary made by a net so I got close to the net and took a photo through it and because the bird was very close, photo is quite sharp...

Oh! I've only been to one place like that, and they had two eagles, but it was too dark to get a good one. I think all zoos should be like that; it's more interesting. Gotta go soon, too.

DeeOtter In reply to woxys [2008-08-22 01:34:10 +0000 UTC]

Heh it's quite difficult to tell gender differences in birds. Except for peafowl. That's pretty easy XD

woxys In reply to DeeOtter [2008-08-22 01:41:52 +0000 UTC]

I only think it is a male XD but there were two birds - one of them (this one) was more coloured (that yellow), so I think it was a male

n.n Heh that's a really good guess.
I think one of the only birds I know off the top of my head that has more color than the male, is the female southern ground hornbill. She has a a spot of purple on her neck and the male just has the orange neck.

is a close up of the male. I think he has really pretty eyes.

._. I haven't seen them for a few weeks. I hope they are ok.
