Hey everyone! Decided to do a Skarmory concept, as its been requested quiet a bit ^^ I felt giving him some type of claw weapons was a must (inspired by the wings). This design took quiet a lot of revising to get right, but I think in the end I'm happy with the result
Hope you like it as well! Also addded a weapon concept off to the side, inspired by Skarmory's tail ^^ Other Pokemon Concepts:

I've missed these! I've been wondering when your next Pokemon Concept would appear. As always, you did an awesome job on this; I like the designs and spikes on his armor, and I like how you gave him a tattered cape. (Perhaps it got that way from all the attacks he survived in battle?) I also like how you gave him Wolverine claws, just like in the concept you made for Aggron a while back. Those and his shoulder pads are a perfect way to represent Skarmory's spiky wings. I like how you made his yellow eyes glow, though to be honest, I'm not too keen on the way the beams of light are angled. To me, it somehow looks as though his eyes are glancing off to the side rather than staring directly at the viewer. But even so, I still think this is an amazing human version of Skarmory. That's cool how you included a close-up of his sword so we can see how it too was inspired by the Pokemon. Don't get me wrong, it's still very good and I do like it very much. Yes, I know how that feels, too. I haven't been making that many Pom-Pom Pokémon lately, since I've been focusing on schoolwork and on a fanfic I'm writing. I think I will make some, though.

Haha I actually really wanted to draw a realistic skarmory mount standing beside him, but it would have taken way to long to paint with school work taking so much of my time

I love how you can tell that it's supposed to be Skarmory without it being blatantly obvious. The subtle use of its color scheme, and design points like all of the sharp angles that it has really helps show that.
