As the title states, the girl is Pakistani.What she's wearing are Pakistani clothes.

No, all Pakistanis aren't tan with black hair.

Since I wanted to do something related to Pakistan, in the background you can see Pakistan's nature and culture.
I didn't add the flag because I thought that it would make it look cliche.
I'm glad that I'm out of art block. ^_^

Yes, I agree that not all Pakistanis are tan and blah blah but as a Pakistani myself I can say that from all the Pakistanis I've seen, only about two or three of them have had green eyes (and not contacts), I think this isn't portraying Pakistani's as it should... :C

A lot of people draw Pakistan like India, there are similarities but they're also different. I think Aliyah in the picture looks like someone from the North Western side of Pakistan.

You should see mine, I am so Pale Olive with reddish nose, cheek, ears, even my arms/hands. I have dark brown hair. Some people mistook me as Turkish LOL. My sister got light brown hair, blue eyed and olive skinned. lol

same happened to my family, my dad omg, hes proper PALEST, more pale than I have. My mom have red freckles, can you believe? shes got a freckles!!! LOL yeah it is real annoy when non-pakistani thought Pakistanis looking like Indian which is not true. Just because Pak was part of India, it doesnt make Pakistan area have same genes from India area lol

Ah no it is not that. It is because it makes no sense for her to be so pale. While Pale skin is seen as beautiful and above darker skin in the nation most are in fact not this pale.

Besides, in the anime itself those characters who are supposed to be dark are not, so why not here? And why don't you make your own Pakistan OC if you can't bear to see this one being pale? T_T

Ah do not cry so much. The reason the ones in the anime were white was due to studio deen. I don't wish to make a Pakistan is because I feel I would be unable to properly represent it. Just give her a bit of a tan and add a note to the descriptions of the old art to tell people you have given her a different shade. Honsetly you seem to have done some research at least and are better than some people.

Many websites I have gone too like the CIA website, info please, among many others state that largest ethnic group are the Punjabi. The Punjabi are know for having dark hair and tanish skin. The second largest,the Pashtun, are also tan with dark hair. All of the ethnic groups that were large enough to be represented by percents were not this pale. While I know there are whites this pale in Pakistan that does not mean the nation's population is mostly white.
