I'm moving the original to scraps. I decided to redo this one for the JPGmagazine contest. vote here: [link]this is the chapel of my school, supposed to look like an aircraft

It's crazy, I live at the school and I've never gone inside the chapel to take pictures. I should probably do so before I graduate huh?
Vail is a great area too. Colorado in general is amazing and I think that no matter how far I might wander, I'll always return here at some point. I really love it.

Oh gosh.. you must go and see inside, it's so serene and lovely, what also impressed me was that there is a spot for various reglious groups, so thoughtful!
Yes my friend, living in such a lovely area is a real blessing, the older you get, the more you will realize this, and I know you'll never take it for granted becasue you love it, it's truly so, so beautiful

I'm moving to Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota. It's near Rapid City. I'm going to be a maintenance officer on B-1Bs there.

I see.. i did a google earth, it's not that far away i think, one state in between? still perhaps 12 15 hrs drive. at a guess? I hope you settle there well James, quite a new challange for you, must be exciting too, are you going this year?
When I was just using Google earth, it suddenly dawned on me that no place on earth is really safe anymore from the enemy, with all this high tech stuff going on..... it never really entered my mind before till I did a search for the Air Force Base... the only onther reason i use G. Earth is th search for the places where friends live.. now I have a total different view on technologie .. good... but also vulnerable..... be well my friend

It's about 7 hours driving, so not too far at all. I'm going to move there in July (military orders could change though), and I should be there for the next 4 years.
Yes, satellite views are certainly a new component of safety considerations for everyone.

yeah, I didnt even realize how well the stars came out until I started looking through the photos. I was pleasantly surprised
The chapel is one of those rare buildings that looks good no matter how or who photographs it.
