Look good but I think the background and the green lights should be dimmed. I think it takes away from the main subject which should be the man shaded in steam.

Thank you so much! I tried cropping off the feet and the manhole cover so it would just look kinda foggy. However, if i remember correctly, i didnt like the way it looked, the amputated look didnt do anything for me. But, i think i will give it another look and see if i i like it with some time sepperation from the photo.

You have a great concept here. I think all the element are unique, and the fact that you pieced them together is impressive. Its always nice to have a member of the fam model for you too! Your general composition isn't to bad, but ask yourself what will set this photo apart from all the others?
I think a good way to improve this, should you do it again or crop it, would be to focus much more on your use of postive and negative space. I agree with cornellius, in that it would be to crop down to the man and the car, it is always useful to try methods that are strange to you, such as cropping in an unusual way. Of course there are a bazillion different ways you could crop this to make it better. There is ALWAYS room for improvement.
Also, it may be a good idea to mess with the contrast and saturation of this picture a little, it isn't a picture that would very much benifit from over-saturating, but playing with the colors wouldn't hurt.

looks like a phantom brusting out of a puff of smoke 
looks very creepy with the steam and the bright car lights. Nice composition, the building at the back seems a little uneseccary, but allows for the rule of thirds. I'm waffling now so I'll stop, but know that I like it

Well thanks a lot. This was an accidental picture. It was supposed to be a portrait type shot with the guy standing in the steam and the building behind but the car came around the corner really fast and he turned to get out of the way while the shutter was open.....
Go figure.

oh! this is really wonderful! i sure love the way he is standing in that steam coming up from the vent!!! the long coat really adds to the drama of the scene.....i bet this would look great in black & white too......
