hmm. I think what I liked most of all was the idea of this creture rising up and holding her pshhh finger aginst her lips... no pretty face, maybe even a bit scary expression, cause U cannnot tell Why you have to be quiet. Lovely.. a picture that makes me feel is always one I like to look at! thank U

C'est ce que je voulais faire dès le début, mais ça m'a prit du temps avant d'y arriver. Je l'ai travailler et retravailler, mais ça valait la peine de la faire comme il faut je crois.

Technicalities aside, as the level of skill you've presented needs no belabouring... I just adore the flawless marriage of realism in such a surrealistic setting. How her very being, and all the elements that make up her physicality, are one with the water, most potent in the swirl of her hair, and merging to become ripples.
To see such a thing in pure, honest daylight, blessed with flecks of sun, is most magical of all

Thank you very much for your comment. I'm very happy you appreciate it. This is a painting that has been through quite a lot of make-over before I was satisfied with the result. It was pretty hard to get the effect I wanted, but I managed to do something pretty close to what I had in mind. So again, thanks for the kind words
