Firstly upon looking at the drawing, I like the unique color palette. With the limited colors it's still pleasant to see. That 'rebellious' grey color of the character doesn't give the drawing an overly dark, sinister tone. I suppose you still wanted the drawing to have a rather lighthearted impression despite this character's resisting gesture, in that case you've done very well with the pastel green/tosca around and the large polkadot & square pattern, giving an impression of fun.

But when I pay more attention though, I think I noticed that his green shirt has an unusual design.. then the green color actually reminds me of the surgeons' uniform also the mask.. then comes the small tile pattern on the left, somewhat reminds me of a hosital building.. I wonder if you meant to draw this personality related to mental illness or something (which is nothing wrong with that), but correct me if I'm wrong. 

Now about the technique, I think you've got the general figure right but there are some things you could improve:
. You stil seem to have doubt in drawing the hoodie (judging by the small tracks of the lines here and there), it looks unsure compared to the lines on the face & hair. I suppose you'll get the confidence by drawing clothes more often.
. The hoodie's folding & shading could also use more definition. A few of the folding still don't make sense in my opinion. You can learn about cloth/fabric folding via many tutorials on DA or just copying it from a real photo.
. I think the hoodie's drawstring on the neck needs a much thicker stroke.

For the general coloring though I think you're getting it, especially on the face and hair. Love that thin white touch on some parts. I like how you drew the character not really centered in the drawing area, a bit to the right while balance with a dominant square tile pattern on the left, it's a unique arrangement. It's the clothing detail you'd need more exercise on for now.

Hey there, I'm from ProjectComment .

I really like the simple colors of this character; his eyes especially stand out to me as looking pretty interesting. He seems scarred, almost, as if he's lost in his own world and cannot concentrate on this one. Makes you wonder what happened in his life.
A couple of issues; first, you mentioned the hand looking odd. It does, indeed, look rather strange. I would say that the finders are too long, and they should visibly be connected to the rest of the hand from this angle. Also, the forefinger, despite it supposedly being behind the other fingers, looks like it is on top of the other fingers, which looks weird and physically impossible. I would suggest looking at hand references when drawing them; it can help you figure out the correct proportions as well as how hands should look from specific angles. While you can find plenty of them if you simply do a search on 'hand reference', here are few of the good ones: Hands reference 4  Hands reference   Hands Reference.
Second thing that bothers me is the hood; or rather the way the hood interacts with his head. Hoods are hard, and it's taken me the better part of a year to figure out how they work, and you've done a pretty great job here. You certainly have a much better idea of how they should be shaped than I generally do. xD I do know, however, that they usually do not sit nicely at the top of one's head; rather they usually are designed to protect ones face and keep the rain off of it. Thus, there should be a shadow along his forehead, since hood should cast one.
Third thing that bothers me is his ears. Ears are annoying. I generally avoid drawing them by drawing hair over where they would be. But it's a good idea to figure out how they should work by either looking at references or practicing them. And while I'm not good at them, I know that they should be lying more against the head than they are drawn here. They also should be in the shadow, since they are underneath the characters hood.
In any case, I think this is a pretty good artwork. You've got a good grasp of proportions, especially shoulder and arm proportions, and your coloring is pretty good. I hope that this comment helps you to become even better than you already are. :3

Very cool! I'm curious about his back story along with the mask now xD I have an OC with similar detail.
The shines on his jacket are a nice touch, but the 'direction' of light per say seems weird, like there's light all around him but not at the same time. Also, maybe defining the shadows a bit more would bring more depth to the character. Those ears are really well done, I usually hide ears on my characters xD The eyes and hair are also really well done, maybe make his pupils a little larger, unless he was designed that way. A specific background could really bring out the character and his personality to a greater extent, like writing a small bit of a story with Orion in his environment just with a drawing. The hands came out nice, but his fingers look a tiny bit 'spindly' on his right hand. I rather like the values and shades you put into the flesh, especially on his head; I've been making mine too 'glossy' which bugs me, but you got the correct values down really well. The biggest thing that jumps out at me is that his neck is way too skinny and small, for my eye at least xD All in all, Orion came out pretty cool looking, keep up the good work! 'vvv'
p.s. Please take my criticism with a palm of salt, I am certainly no better than you. Just running around finding cool art.
