"NO, Aunt Crys, I'm fine, it's cool! Totally fine! I remember what happened the LAST time you tried hooking me up with one of your friends."

Sooooo most of the people I tried to wish a happy Valentine's day to at work today all got cynical and nasty, and resorted to condescendingly snapping at me about reminding them that today is also Single Awareness Day. It kind of put a damper on my day...until I decided I should do what I've done for years: vent by outputting all my negative energy into drawing. And this happened.

You guys remember me drawing my husband's Gen 1.5 Batman villain OC, Cresendo? Have a link and have another link , if you can't remember. But I mentioned in the oneshot I wrote with her, that she's technically the aunt to a Batman Beyond sound-based villain who's like, Gen 2.5 from what we've deduced for the timeline.
Yep, that's right! She's Shriek's overly-affectionate-to-the-point-it's-suffocating auntie. AND SHE IS HERE TO HELP HIM MAKE THIS SINGLE AWARENESS DAY TOTALLY UNFORGETTABLE. Because let's face it, since Walter's the only person Crystal cares about aside from herself, SHE'S GOTTA SMOTHER THE BOY WITH ALL HER HELPFUL AUNTIE WISDOM AND SCHEMES.
Might be helpful for me to note that aside from taking pains to look slightly younger for vanity reasons, Crescendo is a Gemini, so she tends to look younger than she actually is, anyway, and she's about sixteen or seventeen years older than Shriek, roughly speaking.
I also should note that this is the first time I've ever drawn Shriek, and apart from botching his hearing-aid-headset, I'm actually very proud of how he turned out.
