I was working during Memorial Day, and the store was SO dead, I somehow found new levels of boredom in multiple layers that day.

The first level of boredom was that I started sketching Guy Gardner.
Now mind you, I love Guy. Since I started this weird journey to become the Green Lantern guru of my group of friends, (it started almost a full year ago, I think?) Guy has grown on me a lot in a short amount of time. He's HILARIOUS.
It's also been my intention to draw Nuriyah with different canon characters and some OCs as well, to sort of do small illustrations of her relationships with each of those characters. I am actually not sure how often she would interact with other Green Lanterns outside of John Stewart (as he's kind of her battle-mentor to balance out Saint Walker's teachings,) but I have a feeling that she would enjoy Guy's over-the-top bravado and loud personality...once she got used to him.

Still, I never would have guessed that I was going to just randomly start drawing Guy Gardner out of sheer boredom and without refs. My apologies for that actually, as I'm sure his costume looks weird enough, even without taking into account the fact that I started getting lazy and stopped detailing his gloved fists. His face and hair were fun to draw though!
And Nuriyah's being politely quiet and just watching Guy Gardner being... well, Guy Gardner. I think he'd tone it down just a little, because if his interactions with Milagro are anything to go by, I figure Guy's got a bit of a soft spot for kids. Though I think eventually he'd be a bad influence on Nuriyah. XD He'd be the one, if anything, to get her hooked on listening to Pitbull, Lady Gaga, 3OH!3, Katy Perry, or something.
