WIP of a Sailor Moon commission. This one part turned out pretty nicely, even all on its own!

Aw, so delicate! I love the details on her face and the texture/colors of the hair. But I have to admit that lace - mainly the clever lace moon - won me over, haha! Very beautiful!~

Thank you very much! I'm glad you like a lot of different aspects of the piece, especially the lace - I love getting to use lace and other crafting materials in my work, so it's extra nice when someone enjoys that specific element.

It's a really special touch, and since it includes a more tridimensional material, I'm sure people might be interested in getting to hold your drawings in hands and feel the textures.

Glad to hear you're doing all right! I'm sorry about the health issues, though.... 
And yeah! Papercutting! I started doing it for fun (and anime conventions) in school, and now it's kinda my main thing. It takes a lot of time and patience and pricked fingers, but it's really fun and very satisfying.
And I've seen what you upload to DA, you don't suck! The delicacy and detail of your work is super appealing. ^_^Β
And as for me, I'm doing okay! I've been freelancing and commissioning and working/teaching classes at a nearby art supply store. I wrote a novel, too!

ah mah gad. Β so i WAS going to join the contest, but then i went to the hospital and trauma stuff happened and DAMN IT THIS SHIT WOULD HAVE MADE SUCH A GOOD ENTRY.

It's a long story lol, here's the short: turns out my sleep doctor put me on medication that made me go literally insane for 2 months before I almost died. Β My (now ex) boyfriend abandoned me at the hospital and I was officially homeless while in the psych ward and had to spend any phone time I could just trying to find out where I was going to live when I was discharged. Β Ended up moving back in with my parents. Β If I knew anything about law, I would be suing that doctor so. hard. xD Β I'm better now!! Β Weak though, I lost 15 lbs in one month, so I'm trying to gain weight and muscle and it's taking foreveeer. But I missed the art contest and I'm sad cause I had an idea I was excited about >8( grrrr.
THANKSGIVING IS COMING. YAY FOOD.
