Toby said all tweets are not canon , so everyone saying Sans is the older brother because of the aniki tweet has no leg to stand on now, haha. BUT while thinking about it a long while back, someone pitched the idea of Papyrus using aniki while Sans uses nii-sama, as befitting the Great Papyrus, which was an idea too cute to pass up.(Essentially both calling each other big brother in Japanese)

Well, if they're twins then it makes sense they call each other big brother, coz no one really wants to be ototo (little brother), when big brother has so many variations.

I still say Sans is the older bother. I'm just sayingΒ if Toby told that to the Japanese translators or whateverΒ for the game when asked what Papyrus would call Sans, then I say it's true since they needed to knowΒ it. Doesn't matter if it was deleted, that doesn't make it any less of a leg to stand on since it has been seen by many. That tweet from Toby saying that the tweets and kickstarter are not canon I seriously think is a joke. Toby likes to troll. But just looking at the tweets, it's pretty clear to me that it was a joke. You canΒ do what you want, but I think it's pretty clear by now that Sans is the oldest. For more than that reason but I'm not going to listΒ them all. And oldest siblings usually end up being the shortest. Not always but I see it more often than not.

Same! I'm the oldest but the shortest and the same goes for another member of the family. He's the oldest out of 3 and he's the shortest out of all of them. XP

I don't think either of them is older, just that all the resets and timelines and such would make Sans SEEM older, since he's been through so many horrible experiences. He's seen his brother get killed multiple times, he remembers Handplates!Gaster and so many other timelines.
Just my two cents.

I personally think Sans is the older brother, but not necessarily that he existed first. It's just that, if Sans remembers the resets and all the crap he and the Underground have been through (which I personally think he does), that adds years to his life that technically didn't happen. If Sans was already the elder brother then, well, no change. If he was the younger brother, those additional years and life experience would have changed that from his point of view.
Don't know who's older counting without including the reset stuff, but with them and the horrible memories they entail in some cases... eh, you get my point.

Aniki significa hermano mayor en japones, papyrus llama a sans aniki porque sans es el mayor, el llama hermano a papyrus pero de una forma mas normal (nii-sama) agregando sama XD no se si me explico yo solo se esto por que veo anime
