Which of the Education Series is your favorite? To me, the $10 dollar one is my least favorite, it's just hard for me to like....My fav is the $5 dollar note....

Same here! I guess my favorite from that series would be the $2 note.
It's funny that Walter Shirlaw designed both the $10 & $5 notes, though the borders were changed for the $5 note, and Charles Schlecht did the engraving for the $10 note.
For me the main reason for not being overly fond of that $10 note, is the style of the ornamentation and figures. It differs too much from what I consider 'the norm'. It's subjective, but, that's the way is.

The "three dimensional curved shields" for lack of a better term, to the left and right of the central vignette, on the $2 Dollar Education Note is pretty classy....

I'd call them cartouches, but "three dimensional curved shields" is far more descriptive!
For me, the whole design, centering on the females and children, just has a balance that I find pleasing.
