I really hated working on this portrait due to how shiny Killer Croc is but I'm really happy with how he turned out. After I finished this tonight I clicked the layers in Photoshop numerous times just to watch the drawing come to life.I did cheat with the background a little bit. After spending so much time on highlights I couldn't get myself to spend a lot of time on something that can barely be seen with Killer Croc's huge head in the way. I used the brick texture so it looked like a sewer. Behind Croc is a drainage pipe.
To remind everyone of who I plan on drawing in my Arkham Asylum series of portraits here is the list of who I've completed and the ones I've still got to do.

I absolutely love Killer Croc. He's perfect for a Batman villain, to contrast all the psycho humans he regularly faces. Great art, man you did fantastic.

I think it really all depends on the version of the character. Take Bane for instance. He's usually portrayed as a brainless brute but he's also been shown to be a highly intelligent gang leader that just happens to be really strong.
Many of the characters have dramatically different personalities depending on who creates that particular version. Some are great and others are nothing more than insults to who the characters can really be.

Yeah. i'm pretty sure in one comic, they tried to make Killer Croc more than a mindless brute, and I think they made him a pimp. I haven't read a comic like that, but I heard it somewhere. Couldn't have been a worse idea. Killer Croc

This is really good. A problem with the video game was that his face wasn't expressive enough but here, his smile is chilling. Plus he really looks human, just badly deformed.

His skin is supposed to be hard enough to resist high caliber gun fire from a distance. If he had shown more expressions it likely would have looked weird seeing his near bullet proof skin move and flex like a normal person's face.

True, but look at kevlar, it's just very dense fabric. Croc's face could be a little flexible while still being bulletproof. But that's just my inner nerd talking. It's still a wicked design for Croc.

Thanks! It isn't hard at all to find good art on this site though. Unless that account is an alternate account, you've only been here a week so you likely haven't learned the ins and outs of the site yet. Once you do you'll find plenty of art that is as good or even far superior to mine.

I was sooo mad at him for eating Scarecrow Dx I didn't notice who that was in the one cutscene cutscene until the second time I saw it. But I still don't like the croc guy -_- *would stab if possible* Stupid crocodile skin Dx

There are actually three different endings to the game which suggests that at least one of the three characters could show up in Arkham Asylum 2. I wouldn't be surprised if all three made some sort of appearance.

I don't think the difficultly has anything to do with it, at least that's what all the forum posts I've seen online suggest. I think it's entirely random which of the three you get.
I expect the Riddler to get a bigger role in the next game considering the outcome of figuring out all the riddles. I'd say more but I'm not sure if you found them all. I'm trying to keep this discussion as spoiler free as possible just in case.
It's already been confirmed that another game is on the way. In fact, during the 2009 Video Game Awards on Spike TV the first thing they showed was the trailer for the sequel. In it there are four hidden characters confirmed to be in the next game not counting Joker and Harley. Take a look at the video and see how many you can find. [link]

The three characters are Bane, Killer Croc, and Scarecrow. Really I don't think Bane or Croc need what's in the box, Bane's already got the stuff pumping through his body and Croc is strong enough as it is.

They'll probably show up in side-missions. A telephone mission for Zsasz is already confirmed, so it wouldn't be absurd to see the other three in similar scenarios. I just hope Bane is smart this time around.

Not enough entertainment mediums take advantage of the smart version of Bane. Most just use the powerhouse version that's only goal is to break Batman in half.

Alright.
The actual characters aren't in the video. Just a clue for each one. All the posters on the buildings that look like Uncle Sam are actually Two Face. If you look closely you will see the left side of his body is burnt and he is holding a gun. The website at the end of the video will show the burn details better on the hand.
The next character is represented by the Iceberg Lounge, a club owned by Oswald Cobblepot, aka Penguin. In that same shot you can see a fire escape with a black cat on it. The cat is named Isis and is owned by Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman.
The final character is there only in name. In the trailer in big letters you see the name Sionis. Roman Sionis is the name of the villain Black Mask.

I think they hid his face on purpose. Even on the official website they torn off that part of the poster. They likely don't have the character model finished or just don't want to show it yet. Since he is the only villain who is scarred on one side and uses a gun it has to be him.
Personally I don't care what villains they put in the game so long as they add Clayface. In the first game he was locked in a cell but since he wasn't a boss it was kind of a let down to find him.

If you've beaten the game then you've found him. You just didn't realize it because he can shapeshift. His cell is near where Poison Ivy was kept if I remember correctly.

I didn't. After realizing he wasn't going to say anything else after pretending to be Cash, Commissioner Gordon, and Quincy Sharp even though I passed him multiple times while searching for riddles, I didn't see much point in checking again. Did you happen to see the crazy guy in a cell near Clayface that was "missing" an arm? If so, did you happen to wonder why he was more detailed than many of the other non-playable characters?

They were all too easy in my opinion but I still think it was one of the best superhero based games I've ever played. The boss fight with Joker didn't fit the character of Joker to me at all though.
It would have been more fitting if he ran away and left Batman with something extremely difficult to deal with. That way the next game would be based around recapturing Joker.

They've got to save some of the good ones for a future game. Seeing as the game ended on a cliffhanger and has already sold over 2 million copies, they pretty much have to make a sequel.
