Anti-bronies are worse.
They bash on people who do like it and there was a case where an 11-year-old brony was driven to suicide. Anti-bronies online rejoiced over the news.

You know what's crazy? Starlight Glimmer, who, yes, could've been done better, caused such an uproar in the fanbase that is probably still going (please tell me it's not for the love of Pete).
I ain't joking, when it comes to the Anti-Starlight people, that's when the fanbase is at its absolute worst.
DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON HER RABID HATERS. You know what they think of Starlight? For just simply having a poor backstory and a redemption arc that could've been done better, they wish that she was dead, brutally mauled, being burned alive, and ugh the R-word. THE R-WORD (if you know what that means). SHE ISN'T THAT BAD OF A CHARACTER. WHY DO SOME PEOPLE JUST HAVE THE MOST DISGUSTING MURDEROUS WISHES TOWARDS HER?! What have they watched in their lives to make them think that? I mean, COME ON! REALLY?! Those people scare me...
Now, yes, I know, not everyone who doesn't like Starlight Glimmer is like that. If you happen to not like Starlight Glimmer but don't attack people who do, good for you, I respect you. But if you do those things mentioned above, don't even breath in my direction from 50 ft away.

I used to consider myself a brony, but too many people betrayed what I wanted to believe this fanbase represented. I was hoping to find more people with compassion, empathy, understanding, but I've found the exact opposite. I've been to three MLP conventions and the first one I went to handled some situations extremely poorly and unprofessionally (though the new staff there has mostly fixed it), another I went to I found out it's original founder was selfish and lacked any fairness, and the last con and this is the only one I will say by name, BABSCon is the absolute worst convention I have gone too since two of the people in there I got to know before they started this con and one of them has been an asshole to me since the beginning and refuses to accept any responsibility for her actions, embarrassed me and two of my friends on a Facebook post I made, and has committed defamation of character towards me along with the con's main founder. Also, the con founder promised to me they would not let what happened at the first con I went to happen at their con, but they did with one of my friends and they were even worse about it then the first con I went to. These people are crooked as fuck and will lie and throw people under the bus to save their own asses. Hell, I brought up someone they hired who said something derogatory before, and they refused to respond to me, so me and some friends who were offended tried to make a peaceful protest on it, and then the con chair to justify herself accused me of other BS that she either knows isn't true or we already discussed and settled.
Outside of cons, near every brony I have met in the San Francisco Bay Area has been selfish, rude, disrespectful, and showing some of the biggest lack of empathy I have ever seen from people in person, even when I wasn't trying to be rude to them.
With all this and some others, I have an extreme hatred for this fanbase now and I can't stand most of the MLP fans (some exceptions and unfortunately due to my YouTube and what made it popular, I still have to cater to that part of the fanbase here and there just so I can keep getting views and get paid, but most of my subscribers haven't shown me disrespect, so I won't count most of them as horrible bronies unless any of them prove to me otherwise). Everyone fanbase has it's psychos and jerks and fuck, I've been one in the Sonic fanbase before and I'm ashamed of that, but this one has had the utmost worst over the opinions, valid concerns, and people showing complete favoritism towards the jerks who hurt others. It's vile.
Due to this, I no longer want to be considered a brony, and as the show's been problematic for me as well (I hated season 6 immensely, liked 7, and I saw two leaked 8 episode where one was good and one was awful and considering huge problems still not being addressed in this series, I just want to stop watching and move on to other shows and fan bases.)
With all this, no other fanbase has ever hurt more to formerly be a part of and now I just mostly want to abandon.

And your point is? It doesn't make the people I faced as a whole any less abusive, any less dishonest, and any less corrupt. It doesn't nullify what they've done to me, it doesn't nullify what they've damaged.
Also, on what you quoted with me, that doesn't justify the show. It still has bad writing, insulting morality and humor, and is still lacking in the intelligence it used to have.

What I ment is ALL fandoms these days are, in fact, vile and corrupt. The Star Wars fandom has people giving death threats George Lucas, Hayden Christiansan, and Disney, the Steven Universe has it's SJWs, Halo's got it's Bungie-purist 343 bulliers, etc.
Similarly, problems with writing are found in many things these days, as well, which is partly the reason why people overreact to them (in a greatly exaggerated, negative way). Everyone's either an asshole or lazy.

It may be true, but the MLP fanbase is more personal to me on it's vileness. Not to mention it's been much more over-glorified then it feels like the rest of the fanbases have been what with all these documentaries and such.
I like some cutesy shows despite being a guy, and in terms of what I like, I'm not overly afraid of expressing it. Hell, there's an MLP design of Cassie from Dragon Tales in my gallery which is to be used in some videos. One thing I have been grateful to MLP's fanbase for is opening this up for more men to be able to express without as much fear. That being said, MLP is not as special of a show as it used to be. Yeah, it did challenge what little girls cartoons could be at first, but I've seen other American made shows that are female focuses or created by women that are good such as Pepper Ann, The Powerpuff Girls, and recently Steven Universe and Star VS. The Forces of Evil. I guess The Loud House also kind of counts since the majority major focus are a bunch of girls.
The big problem is that I feel the over-glorification of this series has worsened what people feel they can get away with or what they believe actual kindness is. Hell, BABSCon was very condescending towards me with the whole Love and Tolerance BS like they are true authorities on it and not just fans of the show. I was protesting against them due to an actress they hired for mascot purposes whom in my casting before said something that came off as derogatory towards people on the autism spectrum and I did try to talk to the head of the con personally whom I was once personally friends with, and she purposely ignored me despite this being a valid concern (I have asked others to make sure it is and they have all agreed). They decided to instead slander me as a thief due to an interview show I host and say I stole interviews from them DESPITE me always telling the head who I was contacting and she GAVE me a code to use to promote a discount for the con. I never said I was part of the con, I only said I was either promoting it or a sponsor for it and both were technically true, especially since every year, I did pay sponsor level attendance. And the head KNOWS this, I have evidence showing as much. It angers me more as these people have majority control of the fanbase in the San Francisco Bay Area which is where I live.
There's more I can say which has further added to why I have a hatred of bronies, but I feel these are current good enough examples with one being very personal.

I love My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic but yeah, I apologise for the brony fanbase (which I am still part of), I still have fond memories for the good part of it (which believe it or not, does exist), but I can see why it has a bad reputation.
Incidentally, if you're interested (and I apologise if you're not) here is how I view each of the examples, if that's okay.
I'm not even sure I've seen this, but I'm sure it exists (I've seen it on anti-pony stuff, but I can sort of understand it there, even though it's better to just accept that people don't like the same things as others).
Yeah, I've seen this. I don't mind people being really involved with the show, but there is a time to stand down (like when they start acting like the show "betrayed" them for not doing what they wanted it to).
I've barely seen this, but the way things are now with a lot of people I'm not surprised. I'm not sure if this is a brony thing, or just an internet thing to be honest.
This was one of those things we're both sides were wrong, and both sides overreacted - Derpy Hooves wasn't intended to be offense, and in my opinion, she wans't (the things people complained about were either mistaken or short-sighted, and, in my opinion, could possibly come across as offensive to those they were trying to protect), but bronies handled it very badly; they should have just calmly explained that those who were offended that they had misunderstood Derpy instead of making themselves out to be the victims, and even complaining about how Hasbro hates them (they really did that, I only wish I was exaggerating).
I unfortunately know this exists, but I fortunately haven't seen that much of it (and when I do see it, I avoid it like the plague). I tend to be very careful when searching for My Little Pony art, but usually the "Rule 34" stuff is pretty easy to avoid.
This is probably the thing I hate most about a fandom, that I still actually love being part of. I hated that bronies acted like this, even before I started caring about the previous generations. Did you know that season one and season two of FiM are actually very close to the previous generations? I doubt these bronies even watch the previous generations properly, they just take a quick look and hate them, or even just go with what others have said, because most brony criticisms of previous gens are wrong (the thing about G3 ponies "all having the same personality" for example - they don't, and I fail to see how anyone who has actually watched the show could think they do). I absolutely love the previous generations, and it staggers me that they can be so hated by a fandom that were introduced to something with seasons which was basically all of them thrown together.
Yeah, I could continue this list easily with a few of mine.
Hope you didn't mind my comment.

Hey, it's me. The guy you talked about hating My Little Pony during Christmas 2015. In Summer 2016, I came back for it, and in 2017, beginning of the year to now, I absolutely DESPISE it. I truly feel a burning hatred for it. The reason was because all summer when I was delusion-ally a fan of it (I wasn't), I was missing out on becoming a fan of Undertale, and now that I dumped ponies, sadly for me, Undertale is dying. So I lost my chance to actually enjoy something because of something that I didn't really like to begin with, and now I cry in bed every night because of how made it makes me feel. Thanks for your time, pal.
